Information

Since 2019, the diocesan museum has been showing numerous works of art and historical evidence across three floors as well as in its new premises in the bishop's house. Having opened in 1905, the museum not only presents the history of the Diocese of Limburg, founded in 1827, but also goes into the diverse religious and artistic traditions of the area. Paintings, sculptures and liturgical objects span an arc that stretches from late antiquity to the present day.
