Information
The Wormser is the largest cultural and event complex in Worms and was opened on 29 January 2011. Its origins lie in the Städtisches Spiel- und Festhaus, whose listed theatre building was integrated into the new building by Gmp Architekten. The Wormser is run by the municipal company Kultur und Veranstaltungs GmbH Worms. The theatre, a reconstruction from 1966, has no ensemble of its own and serves mainly as a guest theatre. In addition, the new building from 2010 offers a large multi-purpose hall surrounded by conference rooms, gastronomy and areas for exhibitions.
