The public library is family- and citizen-friendly and open to everyone. It is open 32 hours a week.
Here you will find an up-to-date, varied range of media for education, training and further education or leisure activities and entertainment: books, music CDs, audio books, DVDs, magazines, games, console games for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, Tonies and Tonieboxes.
Our stock comprises around 26,000 media items. This includes 50 magazine subscriptions, the selection of which is largely based on customer demand.
Three PC workstations with Internet access and MS Office programmes are available on the upper floor. You can also use our free WLAN with your private smartphones, tablets, laptops or e-readers.
We are affiliated with Onleihe-Hessen, the digital lending platform for libraries. For film lovers, the new streaming portal filmfriend provides films and series.
As part of the municipal service offering, we value a pleasant atmosphere, personalised advice and competent information. In our various reading and work zones, you can browse, discover new things, read, learn, work and much more.
