COMOEDIA MUNDI
COMOEDIA MUNDI is the only touring theater in Bavaria with its own mobile venue, the theater tent. Nationwide there are at most a handful of conceptually comparable theaters.The theater was founded in 1983 out of the need to realize oneself as an actor in concrete productions. In the meantime, an ensemble with changing members from the Netherlands, Portugal, Croatia, Switzerland, France, Italy and Germany has emerged. Most of them have professional training and experience not only in acting but also in music. The group chooses its theme, which is staged in a very personal way through intensive research and improvisation. Since 1993, mostly literary originals have been freely adapted for the stage. In summer, own children's plays, readings and chanson evenings complement the program in the tent.
