2025:

Dear friends of music, dear guests,

We once again invite you to chamber music concerts at our charming church venues in the Rheingau and at the Kurhaus in Wiesbaden for the 40th Burghofspiele.

You can look forward to many well-known soloists and ensembles, as well as some appearing at the Burghofspiele for the first time. After the press and audience celebrated Yoav Levanon and Lauren Zhang last summer, it is an obligation for us to invite both of them again for a piano recital. In addition, Lauren Zhang will play Ludwig van Beethoven's heroic 5th Piano Concerto at the Wiesbaden Kurhaus on December 28.

The Minetti Quartet will also be celebrating an anniversary with us, their 10th appearance in the Rheingau. The Capriccio Baroque Orchestra and the Virtuosi di Basso have also been welcome artists with us for many years. The innovative harpist Magdalena Hoffmann will be performing in the Rheingau for the first time, playing a “Rhapsody in Green” in a duo with Agnès Clément. Not forgetting Thomas Bading, a “veteran” of the festival, who will perform an “Amadeus” reading. We also warmly welcome all the other soloists and ensembles!

We look forward to your applause and curious interest as you explore the program and wish you many brilliant experiences in the ever-fascinating world of music.
