After being cancelled in 2024 due to neighbourhood issues, the Barock am Main Festival will return in summer 2025 with renewed vigour – and a new location: it will now be held on the grounds of ‘Frankfurt Westcoast’ in Griesheim, right on the waterfront and with an impressive industrial backdrop. The audience can continue to look forward to top-class entertainment, theatre in the Hessian dialect, live baroque music and Frankfurt specialities. The new venue offers ample parking and an atmospheric ambience. The long-term plan is to return to the historic Bolongaro Palace, but until then, it's time to experience baroque theatre in Griesheim.
