The library at La Londe Platz on the Rhine, which has been redesigned since 2018, shines with MANY NEW BOOKS, DIGITAL MEDIA, A LOT MORE LIGHT AND A BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN'S LIBRARY. Our concept includes a READING AND LITERATURE EDUCATION FOCUS that not only relates to our media offering, but also actively teaches reading and media skills through projects and events. To this end, we are closely networked with all local educational partners. Day-care centres and schools can order media boxes from us on topics of their choice. We organise interactive activities suitable for children: Exhibitions and guided tours with a hands-on and experiential character, picture book cinemas, rallies and much more. We also use selected educationally valuable digital media such as Onilo and Actionbound.
