The AusstellungsHalle Schulstraße 1A is located in the immediate vicinity of the Frankfurter Museumsufer. In the backyard of a half-timbered house in one of the oldest streets in Sachsenhausen, which starts at the Apfelweinviertel and ends on the banks of the Main at the level of Eiserner Steg, the former laundry hall stretches over an area of about 250 square meters. The functional industrial architecture of the 1960s integrates older parts of the building and also has utility rooms and sanitary facilities. Since April 1999, the self-supporting hall has been used for exhibitions and other cultural events.
