The Archiv Frau und Musik is the world's largest and most important archive for music by and about women. It offers an extensive collection, expert advice, research, archive tours and more. 

With around 33,500 media items by and about 2,200 female composers and conductors, the ‘Archiv Frau und Musik’ is the world’s largest and most significant archive of its kind. The collection includes sheet music, recordings, literature and grey literature on female composers, musicians and conductors from the 9th to the 21st century in the field of classical music as well as rock, pop and jazz. One focus is on original scores and letters from the 18th to 21st centuries as well as the estates of female composers.
