Altstadt-Theater Dietzenbach
The Altstadt-Theater is located in the middle of Dietzenbach's cultural monument Schäfergasse at Harmonieplatz. The house has been home to a theatre for more than 10 years. Founded by Reiner Wagner, the acting ensemble Die Spieler (Christoph Visone & Susanne Fey) has staged its productions in the house since 2021. After Wagner's retirement in 2022, the venue will continue as the Old Town Theatre under the direction of the Players. The programme includes dramas, plays, musical theatre, comedy and readings. Guest performances take place at regular intervals. The Kindsköpp e.V. children's and youth theatre, under the direction of a theatre pedagogue, offers young actors challenging theatre training once a week. The association's sponsorship department supports the work in and around the theatre in all areas. The Old Town Theatre cooperates with other businesses in the Old Town. The space can be rented for private purposes.
