Wiesbaden has a colourful and multifaceted theatre scene. Since 2014, the Akzent Theatre in Rheinstraße has added a small but fine basement theatre with a living room flair to the cultural landscape. The cultural and theatre venue is a repertory theatre with a professional ensemble and has classical theatre, comedies and children's theatre on its programme. The venue was founded by Sigrid Siewior, who brought the Akzent Theatre to life with a tireless enthusiasm for plays, international experience and passion. In the abandoned vaulted cellar, a place was created that enchants the audience. The actors use every corner of the theatre for their acting. Audiences young and old can enjoy light refreshments in the in-house lounge. In addition to exciting plays, the founder also gives acting lessons for those interested. The Akzent Theatre is located in the heart of the state capital of Hesse. It is a short walk from Wiesbaden main station. Car drivers will find parking spaces for a fee in the Luisenplatz multi-storey car park.
