Our library in Altheim is located in a historic building in the formerly independent municipality of Altheim. Since 2007, the Altheim public library, together with the previous Münster Catholic library, has been run as one library under the name “Public Library Münster”. The library in Altheim currently contains almost 7,500 media items. The high quality of the holdings is characterized by a collection of numerous book prize winners, including all Nobel Prize winners for literature, all winners of the German Book Prize and the Youth Literature Prize, as well as a large proportion of the winners of the Peace Prize of the German book trade. The two employees will be happy to help you find the right one for you from the 2,700 children's and young adult books, the over 3,500 fiction books or the almost 1,300 non-fiction books.
