Kreativfabrik Wiesbaden
Kreativfabrik Wiesbaden
The Kreativfabrik is an active part of the lively cultural scene in Wiesbaden. In the building of the former butcher's shop on the former slaughterhouse site, the association runs a cultural centre with a diverse programme of events, rents affordable rehearsal rooms to young, local music bands and offers space for initiatives, groups and seminars from the cultural and social environment. The association feels committed to the goals of the cultural park initiative and is involved in the implementation for a cultural park on the former slaughterhouse site. The Kreativfabrik works out of the conviction that there are a lot of young people in Wiesbaden with a lot of good ideas. These are worth trying out and realising - even away from the cultural mainstream and commercial interest. Urban youth culture in particular is characterised by a multitude of subcultures, diverse currents and a pronounced dynamic towards ever new forms of expression. The Kreativfabrik accompanies these processes with curiosity and is always open to these new forms, artists and projects and offers idealistic, financial and logistical support for their development and unfolding. The work serves non-profit purposes and is recognised as such by the tax office.
