Information

Wiesbaden's oldest building from the Roman period is located next to the Roman Gate and was probably part of a Roman fortification from the years 364 to 375. In addition to the heathen wall, the Roman Gate was built in 1902 as an enclosure with a covered wooden bridge. In the Roman open-air museum next to the Roman Gate, which was created on the initiative of the spa and tourist association e.V., copies of stone tables found in Wiesbaden from the Roman period are exhibited.
