The Ethnographic Museum and Documentation Center of the Berstadt Village Development Working Group was founded in November 2002 and is located in the Berstadt water tower. On the second floor, the museum exhibits objects from agriculture, trade and handicrafts, as well as household utensils, jewelry and other everyday items. The focus is on the simple life of farmers and craftsmen from about 1850 to the 1950s. It demonstrates how the inhabitants of Berstadt worked and lived at that time. The documentation center is located on the 2nd floor. The stock of older and newer literature, press articles on village renewal, preservation of historical monuments and local history as well as pictures, text panels, maps and documents of the village renewal from 1986-1992 until today is constantly being expanded.
