Information
With the relocation of the municipal administration in 1985 to the new city hall, the rooms in the former Dettingen elementary school were free to use by the history association. Step by step, various theme rooms of the Karlstein local history museum were opened. Meanwhile, over 300 square metres of local and regional history can be seen and experienced.
To this end, rocks, ores and fossils were put on display in the basement. Another room is dedicated to the topic of displacement (from the Czech Republic).
