Not a year goes by without a golden start to autumn – and 2026 will be no exception, when we return to the beautiful grounds by Steinbrücker Teich on 22 and 23 August for the 13th edition of the Golden Leaves Festival. Under the theme ‘A Leaf Becoming A Movement’, what may well be the most unique edition yet of our little festival utopia – now a reality – awaits you! Once again, the love of music will take centre stage for two days – in the form of a hand-picked mix of established acts, exciting newcomers and the odd hidden gem waiting to be discovered. And alongside that, there’ll be plenty of surprises in store – just like the Golden Leaves Festival!

Since its first edition in 2012, the Golden Leaves Festival in Darmstadt has constantly evolved across a wide variety of venues and has now established itself as a regular meeting place for music lovers from all over Hesse and beyond. The Golden Leaves Festival thrives on the people involved: organisers with passion and a keen eye for detail, and an audience that enthusiastically embraces whatever is on offer on and in front of the stages. As summer draws to a close, this evokes a spirit of new beginnings, a curiosity for the unknown, and two days packed with music, all in a friendly, family-like atmosphere where sustainability, diversity and community are more than just empty words.
