Since 1970, Frankfurter Sparkasse has operated the 1822-Forum as a non-commercial gallery in the center of Frankfurt. Not yet established artists from Frankfurt and the surrounding area have the space and opportunities to organize their first own exhibitions and to design an exhibition catalogue. They present their work to the public for six subsequent weeks, starting with a vernissage. This highly regarded programme to support emerging young artists will continue from 2026 onwards in partnership with the Offenbach Hochschule für Gestaltung under the new label “F9 – powered by 1822 and HfG”.
