Information

Wetterau-Museum, located in the immediate vicinity of the Friedberg town church, looks back on a collection history of over 100 years and today sees itself as a living museum for Friedberg and the Wetterau. One focus is on the archaeologically preserved cultures in the Wetterau, from the Stone Age to the early Middle Ages, with special emphasis on the Celts and Romans. The history of the castle and town of Friedberg is highlighted by selected exhibits in the town history section. Other exhibitions show the development of the rural working world in the Wetterau from 1800 to 1950, as well as a Friedberg grocery store. Special exhibitions and offers for children are further focal points of the museum's work.
