Information

Sandrosenmuseum Büdingen displays geological treasures from prehistory in the beautiful Jerusalem Gate. The so-called sand roses are crystallized structures in all shapes and sizes. Although the finder and museum's director Lothar Keil keeps the exact places of discovery hidden, visitors can marvel at the most beautiful sand roses as well as large scale photographies of their excavation sites.
