Information
Wambacher Mühlenmuseum is dedicated to mills and their historical functions in the Taunus region as well as old crafts. The museum itself was once a grinding and oil mill and was first mentioned in 1756. Original workplaces of past trades are on display, such as an old painter's workshop, a historic pharmacy and a blacksmith's shop. Old crafts are preserved here, production processes explained and, as far as possible, machines driven by water power are demonstrated in their functions.
