Information

We would like to use our information to make you curious about the history and cultural heritage of the region around Seeheim-Jugenheim. And of course we would be happy if you came to visit us on site – as an individual, family, group (school class, kindergarten, club, tourists, researchers...).

The Seeheim-Jugenheim Regional Museum can be found in the old town center of Seeheim, in the Renaissance town hall built in 1599 and at Kirchstrasse 1.

It now includes the special museums:

- “Museum Burg Tannenberg” includes valuable finds from Tannenberg Castle and shows life in the Middle Age

- "Schulmuseum Seeheim-Jugenheim" including lessons in a classroom of a one-class elementary school from the imperial era

- “Museum Kulturerbe Region Seeheim-Jugenheim”, excursions, guided tours in the town center, in English landscape parks, churches and the castle ruins.
