The Old Jewish School is intended as a documentation center that, on the one hand, virtually revives the lost city fortifications and on the other hand, maintains the knowledge of the destroyed Jewish community in Camberg. The building used to house a synagogue between 1773 and 1838 before the synagogue was moved to Schmiedgasse and later destroyed by the National Socialists.
