Goethe is omnipresent in Frankfurt. You can not only follow the footsteps of the great poet in the Goethehaus in the city center, but also in Sachenhausen. The Willemer cottage is another very special "Goethe place". From the former garden house could once be enjoyed a wonderful view of Frankfurt. In the tower-like little house, which was acquired by Johann Jakob von Willemer in the early 19th century, Goethe met Marianne von Willemer, with whom he had a special friendship until his death.
