Information
The Farmhouse Museum in Rothenbuch is one of the oldest farmhouses in the Spessart region. The two-storey half-timbered house dates back to 1780 and was built by the cobbler Johann Hasenstab. The kitchen and the parlour on the ground floor were heated with the body heat of the animals housed in the stables in the basement. The smokehouse on the upper floor is still largely in its original condition. The building is furnished with furniture and household appliances of the time and offers a comprehensive insight into the living conditions of the time.
